Our Counsellors & Associates

Meet our Psychologists & Careers Counsellor:   Joyce, Adam & Mariana

Joyce    (Port Melbourne, VIC)

We need to change the relationship we have with ourselves
before the things around us can change.

 Psychologist, Clinical Hypnotherapist

I have worked as a Psychologist for more than 17 years.  I have provided consultations to mental health, employee assistant programmes, social, community, educational professionals and have supervised provisionally registered psychologists.

I am a trained Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Clinical Hypnotherapist (Hypnosis).  I also use Mindfulness Based Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Thought Field Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Transpersonal Counseling. I can draw on all these tools to help you.

I believe that inner peace is a natural state for all of us and I want you to achieve this in life. It is our patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour which prevent us from achieving this state. We have become so used to the ‘stressful’ state, that it feels normal to us. We may even be addicted to this way of behaving. I can help you identify these habits and patterns and change to new neural pathways in order to achieve new results instead of experiencing the same old thing over and over again. But I need your commitment and willingness to change and openness to try something different. You will need to be honest with yourself and even be willing to see some things about yourself that you may not even like. This is the first step to change. Then opportunities present themselves to you where you never saw them before. Ultimately, you hold the key to making changes in your life.

What I offer you:

  • Insights to your patterns of behaviour and habits.
  • Origins of those patterns and habits.
  • Tools to change them.
  • Support to make those changes.
